  1. Panasonic, and the retailer I bought this from, advertise it as having wireless rear speakers. Good luck finding the wireless speaker kits. I could not locate any online, and Panasonic was of little help. I guess the kits will eventually be available but who knows when. Panasonic should be ashamed of itself for advertising it as they do. They should say something like “feature/parts available around xx/xx/xxxx” or something like that so people are informed UP FRONT.

  2. This product has a very clean output sound. The high-frequency sound is very good but the low-frequency output is not qualified. I then buy the upgraded system SC-BT300.

SC-BT200 is okay if your ears are not picky.

When I received sc-bt200 it would not play standard dvd’s, but it played blu-ray fine.Panasonic sent me to a local repairman, they had it for 5 weeks then they told me it could not be fixed, that I needed to pick it up and send it back to panasonic myself.I called panasonic on the phone and asked for a new replacement and have been turned down.Today I faxed them my receipt and now I am waiting for them to send me the shiping slip, so they can try to fix it.Do not send them e-mail, they will say they’ll contact you but never do. This is the last panasonic product for me.

I had replaced an old Pioneer surround sound system with this new blue ray unit. The sound does not compare to the old system that I replaced.I have adjusted the unit and made it sound better than the factory settings but I am less than impressed.I bought it to go with my 50″ Panasonic plasma H.D.T.V.I thought it would perform well being the same make.I was very wrong.I think it has a very poor sound quality. The remote buttons must be repeatedly pushed for results.

I had it out of the box and set up in an hour. It comes with a positioning mic for proper speaker placement
